Africa, a continent characterized by its dynamic and ever-evolving nature, is undergoing a remarkable transformation, particularly in the western region. Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Senegal serve as vivid of this paradigm shift, where the echoes of a colonial past are juxtaposed against the backdrop of impressive modernist structures. This visual dichotomy unfolds amidst the stark realities of polluted slums and newly developed areas catering to a new middle class. This project seeks to capture this multifaceted narrative of growth and construction that defines the contemporary African landscape. The lens focuses on the coexistence of historical remnants and ambitious modern structures, reflecting the continent's journey from its colonial past to its aspirations for a prosperous future. However, the project acknowledges the fragility of this progress. The looming specters of political instability and negative twists underscore the delicate balance that defines Africa's journey towards sustainable growth.
