This reportage was made during the 4 days after the Grenfell’s Tower tragedy in London has happened. The pictures are taken in in the areas surrounding the Grenfell tower in North Kensington, part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea: the Verity Close estate, the Latymer Christian Centre in Bramley Road, the Westway Sports Centre, the Notting Hill Methodist Church in Lancaster Road, the Rugby Portobello Trust in Walmer Rd, were the main hubs in where people gathered immediately to help the people affected by the tragedy. The main focus of this reportage is on the candid reaction to this dramatic event: people are looking at the black skeleton as it is a sort of an evil spell who took over North Kensington and no one can rationalize the extent of this tragedy happened in one of the most advanced cities in the world and in the richest borough. After 6 months from the 14th of June, many questions are still unanswered: how many people really died? Who developed and promoted a building insulation foam that was not fireproof? When will the final responsibilities be defined? What is very clear to me is that this tragedy has nothing to do with fate or a concomitance of unpredictable events but has to do with human negligence and bad politics.
